The central component of VirtualGuard Appliance creates a highly-secure intelligence unit that communicates with perimeter video cameras and the data center to alert, respond to, and analyze environmental data. VirtualGuard utilizes a secure wireless connection to communicate to fixed and PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) video cameras, sending live video from the perimeter feeding back to the central data center and alerting command of any abnormal activity set outside institutional parameters.
 

Cameras can be positioned along a fence line or walls, offering advanced pre-emptive surveillance of the perimeter boundaries. Using customized security rules, VirtualGuard can rapidly deploy intelligent surveillance information to law enforcement and management so defensive measures can be taken.

 

VirtualGuard uses embedded video analytics to capture and integrate the video surveillance reference and disparate sensor systems to enhance command, control and decision making during both routine operations and crisis situations.
