Our Community Engagement
3eTI’s employees are a vibrant and cosmopolitan group of people who recognize that the success of the communities in which they live is just as important as their individual success. As such, they are actively engaged in programs that enhance the livability of their region. Programs that support food banks, distressed families, and the environment find active participation from 3eTI’s employees.
3eTI’s employees participate in an annual food drive to support the Manna Food Center—a local food bank founded in 1983 located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, which feeds 3,300 families each month in numerous locations in Montgomery County. Employees contribute canned goods, non-perishable food items, and cash (to which 3eTI provides a company match).
Toys for Tots
3eTI employees celebrate the spirit of the year-end holidays in part by remembering those less fortunate within their communities. The annual 3eTI Toys for Tots event sponsored by the US Marine Corps Reserve enables employees to donate new toys to less fortunate children in the community.
3eTI stands behind the slogan “Recycle, Reuse, and Reduce” as part of its “Go Green Campaign” to protect and preserve the environment. Through the GreenDrop organization, 3eTI employees support the environment, help military vets and the nation’s vision impaired by contributing gently used clothing and household items. Additional green activities include participation in the Montgomery County recycling program by such efforts as:
- Reducing our carbon footprint
- Being cognizant of energy and water usage
- Recycling paper and foam products
- Using less paper by communicating electronically as much as practical
